Words can’t express how grateful I am to celebrate 20 years in business as the founder of Soulful Indulgence. This journey has led me to a place where I can do what I love while making a meaningful impact on my community.
To commemorate 20 years of Soulful Indulgence, this is the first in the series of special articles that offer an inside look at who we are, what we stand for, and the journey that brought us here. Through these stories, I hope to inspire more companies and organizations to embrace wellness and to highlight the dedication and milestones that have guided us over the past two decades.
Delivering Wellness: How It All Began
I began my career as a licensed esthetician and soon realized that health and wellness services were often out of reach for many; a luxury rather than a necessity. Yet wellness is an essential part of who we are and how we thrive. We lead busy, often stressful lives – making it hard to find time for self-care. Prioritizing mental health and well-being is essential.
In those early years, I discovered that many spa products contained hidden chemicals that are harmful to the body. Knowing that the skin is our largest organ and absorbs what we put on it, I turned to natural, holistic wellness products for my clients. I saw just how powerful nature’s healing can be. That realization transformed the way I approach and practice wellness.

From the very beginning, I approached wellness differently. People didn’t come to us—we delivered wellness to them. We weren’t just another spa. We are an eco-friendly mobile spa. By bringing the convenience of wellness services like chair massages directly to any location, we made it easy for our guests to pause, relax, and recharge.
What started as a small idea soon grew into a dedicated team of experienced massage practitioners, delivering personalized relaxation sessions to organizations of all sizes. I began collaborating with companies that shared my vision—leaders who understood that investing in employee well-being creates healthier, happier, and more productive teams.
Today, our on-site wellness services continue to help reduce stress, improve morale, decrease sick days, and support employee retention through a meaningful workplace benefit. More than just a perk, our services are a commitment to caring for people—because when employees feel valued and supported, everyone thrives.
Wellness at Events
Partnering with CPHR British Columbia & Yukon at their annual event since 2015 has shown us the magic of bringing wellness to events. From the energy on the conference floors to the excitement of golf tournaments, we love creating moments where people feel appreciated and provide guests a perfect oasis from the busyness of the event.
Delivering the Gift of Wellness
When Covid arrived unexpectedly, it was a challenging time for us. With workplace and event wellness services on pause due to social distancing measures, it became clear that self-care and wellness were more important than ever. To support employees working from home, we introduced our thoughtfully curated wellness gift sets—designed by our experienced estheticians to promote self-care using the finest natural ingredients nature has to offer. We wanted to empower people to take care of themselves, bringing wellness during these unpredictable and stressful times.
Wellness Is More Important Than Ever
We were happy when the pandemic ended, and the world started to open back up again. Companies are excited to welcome on-site chair massages back to their offices and events. If we learned anything from the pandemic, it reminded us that prioritizing mental and physical wellness is more essential than ever.
On-site chair massage is a powerful back-to-work incentive because it provides additional motivation for employees to return to the workplace, while showing them that their well-being matters to the organization. On-site chair massages reduce stress, relieve tension, and boost energy—helping employees feel refreshed, valued, and ready to tackle the day. It’s a small gesture with a big impact on morale, engagement, and workplace culture.
