  3. Try the 4-7-8 breathing technique: Breathe in through your nose 1-2-3-4. Hold 1-2-3-4-5-6-7. Exhale out your mouth 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8. Repeat as needed.

  13. Steam and sauna rooms feel great, as does contrast bathing with a nordic plunge pool or shower. Adjust your shower’s water temperature, or fill a bath to run the coldest water you can stand. You can increase the coldness, the more you get used to this practice. Allow the cold water to refresh your skin for five to ten seconds – while breathing deeply. Instructions:
  1. Prepare your space according to the experience you would like.
  2. From the dry 6” Seaweed Frond included, cut a 1-2 inch piece off, to later use over the eyes during the treatment.
  3. Start filling the bathtub with warm water. The ideal temperature is only a few degrees above our internal temperature of 37 degrees, so ideally your bath should be between 40 to 45 degrees. Preference and room temperature will make things vary. Avoid using exceedingly hot water, as it tends to dry out the skin. While starting the filling of the tub, add 1.5 oz of the Pacific Seaweed Soak/Concentrate. Once the tub is filled to the desired bathing level (the deeper the better), toss all the seaweed fronds into the warm bath. You can also soak these separately in a small bowl of warm – hot water for at least 10 minutes prior to using any time.
  4. While you wait for your muscle soothing soak to fill: using clean hands, combine in a shatterproof bowl, scoop out 3.5 tablespoons of Green Tea Seaweed Salt Glow. To boost detox and re-mineralization benefits add ½ tsp of Pacific Seaweed Concentrate/Soak to this mixture and add just a few drops of drinking water. Mix well. Make sure your hands and tablespoon are clean and dry when handling the products from their main containers; to ensure they last longer, without risk of contamination.
  5. Disrobe, step into the warm shower, and quickly wet your body.
  6. Turn off the water and gently apply the freshly mixed scrub by scooping a small amount of the mixture in your hands. Hold the scrub in your enclosed palms for a few seconds to warm it. Massage the scrub in gentle circular motions across your entire body, avoiding the face. If your facial skin is tough enough, you could use the liquid at the bottom of the bowl, avoiding as many salt granules as possible on the face and décolleté (i.e. your neck, chest, cleavage, as these areas have more delicate skin). There’s no need to scrub hard, just let the product do the work. Avoid applying to any sensitive areas, and on any damaged or broken skin. The scrub on your body should feel a little gritty as you apply it. However, if it is not gliding smoothly, moisten your hands with a little warm water and re-apply until it glides easier. Sometimes the exfoliation may feel active on the skin, but quickly subsides.
  7. With salt still on your body, carefully immerse yourself into the tub. You made it to the soak. Deep inhale…Hold….Long, slow exhale. Try that 4-7-8 breathing: Breathe in through your nose 1-2-3-4. Hold 1-2-3-4-5-6-7. Exhale out your mouth 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8. Repeat as needed.
  8. Give yourself a heart hug: place your hands over the center of your chest. Take a deep breath in and long exhale out your mouth. While keeping your hands over your chest, think self affirming positive thoughts and connect to your inner self.
  9. Those seaweed fronds soaking in your tub with you: take the large piece and gently massage over the face and neck. Fronds help to soothe, heal, reduce redness, and infuse minerals into the skin. Massage the gel secreted from the seaweed frond, onto your skin, for it to be transdermally absorbed. Simply place the fronds back in the bath water as you soak. You can use them again massaging your entire body with the large piece.
  10. When you are ready – no rush here. Secure the optional hair band, to prepare yourself for Hydra Skin Renewal Facial Mask, while you relax in your re-mineralizing soak. This formula is created with therapeutic ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, magnesium vitamin C, and 98+% plus whole Pacific seaweed with pure essential oils, showing remarkable effects to restore the youthful qualities of the skin. Only ½ to 1 teaspoons maximum is required. Mix in 5 drops of Seaweed Concentrate to the mask, in the palm of your hand. Apply the mask in a thin layer over the face, neck and décolleté; using your hands. (Make sure you avoid rubbing the mask in, as it is not a moisturizer. You are applying over top of the skin.) When the seaweed fronds are hydrated, there is a clear gel that is secreted. Apply the pre-moistened seaweed frond piece over the eyes. If possible, twist the seaweed frond in the middle and place the ends of the frond over the eyelids until the mask is removed. (You can even place a damp face cloth over top of the fronds, if they need securing.) This will help to address dryness, puffiness, and fine lines around the eyes. Very soothing for tired eyes.
  12. Take at least 20 minutes here to clear your mind with focus on your breath. We recommend following the 4-7-8 breathing technique: Inhale for 4 seconds. Hold your breath for 7 seconds. Then exhale for 8 seconds. Repeat three or more times – as often as you’d like. The longer the better. Lay back with support. If you have a bath pillow, or rolled towel, you can place it behind your head or neck.
  13. As you relax in the tub, you can use the Accu Reflex Spiky Massage Ball to roll over your body. Roll away tension and muscle knots with deep tissue body massage and trigger point tension release – by leaning into the ball. Great for full body massage on the back, arms, legs, feet, and hands. Try the shoulder blade region up against the back of the tub. Lean your shoulder blade into the ball and roll around it – keeping the ball tight against the wall. If you are doing trigger point release, ensure you breathe in and out to bring oxygen and circulation to ease the tension. Hold on the trigger point at least 30 seconds to one minute, while maintaining deep mindful breathing and exhalation. Try rolling the ball along the bottom on your foot; to help relieve pain from Plantar Fasciitis, or just get a nice energy boosting foot massage.
  14. Should you wish to give yourself a bit of a nourishing hair and scalp treatment. Take 1 teaspoon at a time of the pacific concentrate into your hands and begin a gentle scalp massage adding more seaweed water as needed and running the seaweed water through the hair. You won’t need to add more than one tablespoon in total. Focus some attention on acupressure points located at the base of the neck, temples, and forehead. Wrap hair in a towel if possible, while the product sits, even a plastic bag will do. Tied up snug after covering the hair. This therapeutic treatment promotes an infusion of minerals and rebalancing of the scalp’s natural pH. Helps to detoxify and replenish the scalp and hair. Revitalizing hair texture and hydration. Also helpful to reduce falling and thinning hair. Hair is left healthy and shiny. It is recommended to keep the concentrate on for at least 15 to 20 minutes before washing out completely with cool clean water.
  15. When you are ready to get out of the tub, carefully lift yourself out of the bath onto a secure bath mat.
  16. Half way – dry your skin off with a soft clean bath towel. While your skin is still damp, apply 2 to 3 pumps of the Green Tea Indian Spice Body Serum into the palms of your hands and distribute to various areas of the body. Go back over these areas thoroughly massaging in the oil. Take particular attention to areas of concern.
  17. Lock in all the nutrients you’ve indulged yourself with, by applying 3 tablespoons of the Seaweed Body Butter. A little goes a long way, so be mindful of how much you use. You do not need to apply a moisturizer after applying body oil, but if you have dry skin, or it’s cold outside; you can not go wrong with a little extra for a nice treat, especially at night when your skin will repair itself.
  18. Put on your favorite plush bath robe, or get right into your pajamas and head off to bed, for a wonderful deep sleep.
